The Vet Behind The Kits

Meet Dr Lauren Brewis, the equine vet with over 15 years of experience, and the creator of the Clever Horse Kits. Partner of Cape Vet Equine Practice in the Western Cape, Lauren is a proud Cape Town local and graduate of the University of Pretoria's Faculty of Veterinary Science. She holds a BSc Agriculture degree from Stellenbosch and is a Legacy Equine Nutrition Advisor. With a rich background in equine emergency medicine, including experience in the racing industry, she has learned that it is better to plan and be prepared for the worst than wait for it to happen.

Dr Brewis is a registered FEI permitted treating vet and the Official Western Cape FEI measuring vet. Her expertise forms the backbone of the Clever Horse brand, ensuring that every product we offer meets the highest standards of practicality and effectiveness.
